A blood-splattered car and street show the aftermath of an alleged Hogmanay 'stabbing' horror in Glasgow last night.

A man was discovered seriously injured on Tormusk Road in Castlemilk sparking a police investigation.

Cops swarmed the area shortly after 7.30pm as locals reported that the victim suffered stab wounds

The victim was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he is being treated for serious but not life-threatening injuries.

A 33-year-old man has also been arrested in connection with the incident.

Police Scotland have confirmed that a probe has been launched.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.30pm on Thursday, 31 December, 2020, police were called after a man was found seriously injured on Tormusk Road, Castlemilk, Glasgow.

"He was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

"A 33-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.”
