Blood spattered BMW at scene where man was left with 'deep cuts' following nasty 'disturbance'

Crime scene investigators were seen combing a BMW for evidence on a south Manchester street following a nasty 'disturbance' - which left a man in hospital with 'deep cuts to his arm'.

Evidence markers were seen on Conyngham Road and nearby Kent Road in Victoria Park on Tuesday evening (August 3).

Several police vehicles attended the scene.

A section of the street was also taped off.

A man was left with 'deep cuts to his arm' following a 'disturbance', Greater Manchester Police said.

A police statement confirmed he was hurt, but that his injuries were 'not thought to be life-threatening'.

The man sought medical treatment and was taken to hospital.

Crime scene investigators were seen dusting a BMW for prints and searching for evidence.

A witness said the vehicle had blood on it.

Greater Manchester Police said in a statement: "Officers were called just after 4pm on Tuesday, August 3 to reports of a disturbance around a car on Conyngham Road in Manchester.

"A short time later, a man presented himself at hospital with deep cuts to his arm - his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

"Officers remain at the scene, and enquiries are ongoing."
