'Blood everywhere' after Seacroft attack as police cordon off house and neighbour reveals her terror

A neighbour has recalled the horrifying moment she heard screams from a nearby house as police stormed the estate she lives on.

Police cordoned off several properties and alleyway that runs between Ironwood View and Bowfell Close in Seacroft late last night after a bloody confrontation.

This morning, one house remains wrapped in a police cordon and forensics teams were at the scene following sightings of blood in the area.

The neighbour, who witnessed the commotion, claimed she heard screams and said there was "blood everywhere".

She said: "At 10pm or 11pm I just heard somebody screaming so we came out [of the house] and was looking for this person, which house it was, and it was coming from inside this house.

"Somebody was on the fence in the back garden looking for the person who lives on the house.

"It's difficult to say if it was a fight but there is blood everywhere, on the windows."

She claims the house which has been cordoned off belonged to family who have recently moved out.

Smashed glass was seen at the scene on Saturday morning and a crime scene investigation (CSI) van was also spotted in the area following last night's disorder.

Yorkshire Live has contacted West Yorkshire Police for a statement on the incident.
