Guido, the blogger who accused lobby journalists of meekness, cosiness and laziness after failing to pursue scandalous gossip about the deputy prime minister, John Prescott, is delighted to find an old media, old fogey supporter, former Daily Telegraph editor Charles Moore. In a Spectator article (which, ironically, isn't available online!), Moore wrote of the lobby having, "by its nature, a tendency to conspire with politicians" and of colluding with "the suppliers of information". Guido is less pleased about his detractors, such as Donald Trelford and Peter Wilby. "All this whining from the old media is the sound of them thrashing about in pain", he writes.
