Blizzard pushed a mini Perk refresh into Overwatch Season 2, adding a set of new Major and Minor Perks that tweak how several Heroes are played in matches.
There are three new Major Perks introduced this season–Trigger Finger, Agility Training, and Double Dose.

Trigger Finger is tied to Reaper’s Dire Triggers and refreshes its cooldown every time you use an ability or reload. It lets Reaper chain fights if he’s cycling his abilities and reloads correctly.
Agility Training targets heroes who rely on sprinting by boosting Sprint’s speed by up to 60 percent after two seconds of continuous sprinting. It effectively turns long sprints into tempo tools, helping heroes get back to the fight faster.
Double Dose, aimed at support players, gives Flash Heal an extra charge at the cost of 10 base healing. It gives Support Heroes a reason to think ahead about how long a fight might last, since having an extra Flash Heal in your pocket can matter more.
Overwatch introduces new Minor Perks for Tank and DPS Heroes
Blizzard has also added new Minor Perks in Overwatch Season 2 that mostly target tanks and explosive damage heroes. Prolonged Barrier increases Void Barrier’s duration and size by 25 percent, which makes it easier to anchor space and protect your team during key pushes, especially on chokes where the extra size really matters.
On the DPS side, Concussive Force upgrades Concussive Blast, dealing up to 50 explosion damage, which can be a real threat when and if used correctly, as it opens up more lethal combos around knockback and burst.

The refresh slots right into a broader Season 2 balance pass that refines heroes’ base kits. If your main heroes are affected by these new perks, it’s worth jumping into Quick Play or Ranked to test how much they change your usual game plan.
Reaper players will want to lean harder into smart reload timings, tank mains should feel the difference in how long Void Barrier can hold a sightline, and Concussive Blast users now have another reason to aim those knockbacks carefully.
With Season 2 still fresh, this mini Perk refresh could be the first of several smaller tuning passes that keep the meta evolving between major patches.
