Saturday 17 July 2010: Don't jump off the roof dad: You'll make a hole in the yard... I hired a roof ladder (bottom right of pic) this morning with a view to getting up to the chimney and doing some badly needed restoration. I am tending to err on the side of cowardice though and think it might be better to pay some silly bugger to get up there with scaffolding. It looks odd but that is my real leg - and it is still attached to me. BTW: To err is human, to arr is pirate and to ye-ha is cowboyPhotograph: The fool on the hill/BlipfotoSunday 18 July 2010: Tiny tots' tea time time: I sometimes shout that out to the kids when it's time for tea. Instead of wondering what I'm on about they tend to ignore me. It's just a phrase that has stuck with me from listening to the Grumbleweeds on the radio way back when. Uncle Rubbish it was. I started to read the instructions and found it so thrilling, and yet complicated, that my brain started hurting and I fell asleepPhotograph: A fool on the hill/Blipfoto
Tuesday 20 July 2010: richard:fiftynine: It doesn't really work does it? I'm 18 years too old, my Ray Bans are fake (fifteen quid too fake) and my hat is from Millets (but it does have genuine Thinsulate lining). And I really don't have a clue how to wear a real Beanie (Isn't it a comic?). Although I can be quite grumpy. Look on this as an homage David. I dunno - the youth of today...Photograph: A fool on the hill/BlipfotoWednesday 21 July 2010: A space to play: At the weekend we dragged the kids out for a walk - as you do - on the hills. We ended up looking at the view upside-down - as you do - and it occurred to me that we tend to casually take for granted that mile thick spacious summer gap of air between the ground and the clouds. It looks different upside down, like you are looking down on a strange and beautiful land. This is the space for gliders. It's all one big play area for some. FabPhotograph: Blipfoto/The fool on the hillThursday 22 July 2010: head.turns: I hope people are allowed to look at the camera in this project. It'll all look a bit robotic and impersonal otherwisePhotograph: Blipfoto/The fool on the hillFriday 23 July 2010: Look at me... Now don't move: I prefer Hover Flies to Bees when it comes to photography. Although their hovering is usually restricted to facing the other way in half second bursts. Amazing fliers they are. Oops I seem to have come over all Yoda. Mmmm, powerful you have become. The dark side I sense in youPhotograph: A fool on the hill/Blipfoto
