A blind man has been attacked by a gang of vile youths at a Fife beauty spot.
The visually impaired victim was assaulted by up to four young people in Beveridge Park, Kirkcaldy, at around 1.30pm on September 23.
Officers say the assault took place next to a sign stating when the next rugby fixture is due to take place near Abbotshall Road.
The victim was not seriously injured but is understood to have been left shaken by the incident.
The youths are all believed to be aged between 15 to 20-years-old and spoke with foreign accents.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “About 1330 hours on 23/09/2020, a blind male was assaulted by youths at the Beveridge Park, Kirkcaldy; near to the sign stating when the next rugby club fixture is.
“If you have any information, please call 101 and quote ref PS-20200923-1696.”
