Blind Fife man attacked by group of vile youths at Kirkcaldy beauty spot

Police in Fife are seeking the public's help in identifying up to four youths who attacked a visually impaired man in a Kirkcaldy park last month.

The man was assault by up to four young people at Beveridge Park in Kirkcaldy on September 23.

Cops say that the vile attack took place next to a sign stating when the next rugby fixture is due to take place near Abbotshall Road.

The victim was not seriously injured but is understood that he has been left shaken by the terrifying incident.

The youths are all believed to be aged between 15 to 20-years-old and spoke with foreign accents.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said : “About 1330 hours on 23/09/2020, a blind male was assaulted by youths at the Beveridge Park, Kirkcaldy; near to the sign stating when the next rugby club fixture is.

“If you have any information, please call 101 and quote ref PS-20200923-1696.”
