Sadly it seems that in this instance they epically failed when they sent a bisexual male couple who matched together on the Channel 5 show to a country where homosexuality is illegal.
On Sunday night, the show was featuring its first ever edition of the dating series with bisexual contestants - and by all accounts the crew failed to do their homework when seeking out a holiday destination.
Viewers watched as beautician Jordan Shannon chose male model Jesse Drew as his date on the programme, hosted by Paul O’Grady.
Once they matched, it was revealed that they would fly out to Saint Lucia in the West Indies to get to know one another.
It wasn’t until they arrived that they were advised that same-sex activity is illegal on the Caribbean island, according to the Daily Star .
Anyone caught and convicted faces up to 10 years in jail.
Last night Jordan revealed: “I didn’t know this until I was told on the way to the hotel. I thought, ‘What the f***?’”
Jesse added: “I was nervous. The hotel security woman told me how most gay men were in the closet there as homosexuality is illegal.
“It’s 10 years in prison if caught.”
Thankfully despite this, the pair enjoyed their TV date without any arrests and arrived back in the UK safely.
Last night a Channel 5 spokeswoman told the newspaper: “We didn’t know and are taking this up with the production company.”
