Bilibili Gaming star top laner Chen “Bin” Zebin has been fined RMB 150,000 (approximately $22,000 USD) by the LPL after failing to participate in mandatory fan high-fives during a player walkout before BLG’s June 3 match.
Following an investigation, LPL officials determined the incident violated competition rules governing player conduct and professionalism, while BLG was also fined RMB 50,000 (around $7,000 USD) for failing to properly manage and supervise the player.

The League of Legends Pro Esports discipline management team announced the punishment on June 5, stating that Bin’s actions negatively affected the competition’s standardized operations and the viewing experience for fans in attendance.
According to the investigation, Bin did not participate in fan high-fives during the player walkout before the match. The LPL ruled that the action violated Article 12.2.2 of the league’s competition rules, which covers player conduct and professional obligations during official events. In addition to the financial penalty, Bin received a public reprimand and has been ordered to participate in training and educational programs related to professional conduct.
The league also found BLG partially responsible for the incident. Officials stated that the organization failed to properly manage and guide its players before the match, neglecting its supervisory duties under Article 12.5.1 of the LPL Competition Rules.
As a result, BLG was fined RMB 50,000 (roughly $7,000 USD) and issued a public reprimand.
The disciplinary notice emphasized that player interactions with fans are an important part of the league experience and that all participants are expected to meet their obligations both on and off the stage. “Fulfilling obligations on the field is the cornerstone of all participants’ professionalism, and effective management by clubs is the guarantee for the league’s operation,” the league said in its statement.
The ruling comes days after BNK FearX benched AD carry Diable for missing a fan event and citing repeated internal issues. Diable has since joined Nongshim RedForce, marking another recent case of organizations taking disciplinary action over conduct outside of official matches.
The LPL added that it hopes the punishment serves as a warning to all teams and players, urging them to respect league regulations, spectators, and the professional standards expected of top-level esports competitors.
The punishment comes as BLG continues its pursuit of another LPL title. They are facing JD Gaming next in the lower bracket quarterfinals in LPL 2026 Split 2.
