Nottingham Forest fans have been reacting to comments made about the club by West Bromwich Albion boss Slaven Bilic.
Bilic reckons that the Reds have it easier than other clubs in the promotion race, and claims are always “dreaming about something”.
Forest were held to a 2-2 draw with the Baggies in their Sky Bet Championship clash at the weekend, with both clubs striving for promotion to the Premier League.
“There is no point talking about the gap or Leeds,” Bilic told Birmingham Live.“We have to approach things game by game.
“It is much easier to be third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, than first or second. They are dreaming.
“If you read about Forest, they are dreaming, they are hoping to get in the top two.”
Forest fans took note of Bilic’s comments, and have taken to social media to express their thoughts and emotions.
Here is a selection of what they had to say.
Karen Pryce: “We must be doing well for him to make a comment like that. Bless him.”
Jamie Bonner: “Slaven Bilic is a very intelligent man so it’s fantastic we’ve clearly got under his skin. It shows we are on the right track.”
Paul Stamp: “We’re not done yet Slaven! Keep pushing Forest.”
Kyle Ruffin: “Fulham or Preston will take their spot, hopefully Forest will but if not then I still think West Brom will drop into the play-offs.”
CTissing1: “Bilic is correct to a point, there is more pressure on the top two. That is why it's not always good to peak too soon. It's a long battle. Dreaming? NO!.”
Hutchmeister: “Cheers Bilic, Sabri's team talk done for the run in.….”
Penman52: “Not sure what the fuss is about. There's always extra pressure on the top two with a chasing pack not far behind. There's nearly always someone coming up on the rails with the finishing line in sight (Villa last season). Could be Blackburn this year via play-offs. Top two go up if they keep winning.”
