Bleeding London stab-victim walks up to police to report attack

A man who was stabbed multiple times in London managed to walk up to police to report the attack.

Officers were on a routine patrol near King's Cross railway station shortly before 4am when the victim approached.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: "Some of our officers were on patrol in Kings Cross Road when they were approached by a man suffering from stab wounds."

The 22-year-old victim was taken to hospital for treatment and his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

A witness wrote on Twitter that blood could be seen on the ground near what looked like chef's knives, the Evening Standard reported.

The attack is being investigated by detectives in the London Borough of Camden. Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or Crimstoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
