Bleacher Report picks Raiders WR Antonio Brown to lead league in touchdowns next season

By his standards, Antonio Brown had a down year with the Steelers in 2018. He caught just 104 passes for 1,297 yards as his efficiency dropped in Pittsburgh. However, despite seeing a dip in receptions and yards, Brown still managed to lead the league in touchdown receptions last year with 15.

Will he be able to accomplish such a feat in 2019 with a new team and quarterback? Bleacher Report’s Maurice Moton believes so as he was named the player most likely to lead the league in touchdowns next season. Take a look at Moton’s thoughts below:

The Raiders reconstructed their wide receiver depth chart over the last year. With new faces in the top spots, expect (Derek) Carr to target the best wideout early, often and in crucial situations. After leading the league in receiving touchdowns last season, (Antonio) Brown may do so again in 2019.

Despite not having elite size, Brown is one of the best red-zone receivers in the league due to his body control and ability to create quick separation. He can play out of the slot or out wide and make plays in contested areas.

Since 2014, Brown has averaged 12 touchdown receptions per year. Don’t be surprised if he sets a career-high in this category in 2019 now that he is in Oakland. It wouldn’t be a shock at all to see Brown lead the league once again in receptions, yards, and touchdowns.
