A fire broke out at a pharmaceutical factory in North Ayrshire last night.
Firefighters raced to the scene at Irvine's GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) plant and battled the blaze around 7.45pm.
Four appliances attended the incident in the town's Shewalton Road and there have been no reported casualties.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) has not provided details of what caused the fire at this time.
A SFRS spokesperson said: "At 7.45pm on Wednesday, July 7 we were alerted by a fire activation system from a commercial property at Shewalton Road, Irvine.
"Operations Control mobilised four appliances and firefighters extinguished a fire within a site building.
"There were no reported casualties and crews left after ensuring the area was made safe."
