Scots firefighters put out a fire which was smouldering under the surface for 12 days at a MOD air weapons range.
The crew from Invergordon was sent out to a flare up at the location near Tain at around 3.21pm on Tuesday, July 13.
Firefighters worked with beaters and knapsack sprayers to contain the hot spots of the blaze, according to the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.
The all terrain vehicle from Elgin also assisted in the efforts and a high pressure lance was used to extinguish the fire.
The water bowser from Inverness was used for water due to the remote location of the incident.
It comes after Ivergordon Fire Station responded to reports of a shed on fire in Building Merchant’s yard in Invergordon at 10pm on Monday July 12.
A small area of wooden panelling was on fire and a hosereel jet and some small tools were used to put it out.
