Blantyre Victoria winger Gavin Millar has been told to self-isolate after concerns he has conornavirus.
The 21-year-old has been advised to stay at home for a week “as a precaution” due to flu-like symptoms.
The former East Kilbride youngster has been a key part in the Vics 16-game unbeaten run which has seen them reach the West Region Championship promotion spots.
Millar is keen to get back playing after the Scottish football shut down – and hopes to mount a title charge.
“I'm desperate to get back playing,” he told Lanarkshire Live Sport.
”I hate not playing football every week; I’ve got to the point that I've even missed the runs we do on Monday nights!
“ I think all the boys are the same boat especially with the run we are on at the moment!
“You don't really want games to be off you just want to keep the run going.
“I think we had a strong result against Renfrew when we played the best part of 60 minutes with 10 men and still dominated the game before everything got postponed.
“We thought with the games we have in hand that was basically the game that secured us going up and our focus was then to go for the title.”
With Millar on lock down, he has recommendations for anyone else stuck at home on what to binge watch.
He added: “We've started watching the outsider would definitely recommend to anyone else as bored as me!”
