Blantyre Vics boss John Gibson expects to retain almost his entire squad from last season, but confirmed that he has lost three stars.
Lewis MacDonald, Nadeem Zeb and Gav Millar have decided to head off to pastures new.
But Gibson says that’s just part-and-parcel of life at Vics and is pleased to have kept as many as he has.

He said: “You’ve got to start early and it looks like I’ve lost a couple of players anyway.
“Wee Gav Millar, Lewis MacDonald and Nadeem Zeb look as if they’re going to be moving on, so I’ve been speaking to a few, trying to bring a couple of players in.
“This is what always happens. When you are where we are, everybody’s going to look for your top players, offer them more money – that’s just how it is with us.
“You get to learn that you just have to go out and look for other players again.”
On plans for next season, Gibson said: “I’m well down the road, I’ve agreed to re-sign almost all of the squad.

“It has been positive, so the biggest majority of the squad are staying.”
Gibson is now just waiting for the season to restart but wants to wait until fans are allowed back in.
“Nobody enjoyed that season there, nobody enjoyed the one before it when it finished early either.
“I really do hope that’s it, that we’re moving on and we can get back to
normal.
“If they want to start back early, that’s fine, but we’ve got to start with supporters – there’s no point otherwise.
“Getting supporters in is what football is all about.”
