A Blantyre man who spat on his sister has been ordered to do 120 hours of unpaid community work.
John Bonner, of Auchinraith Terrace, appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court last week. The 35-year-old admitted assaulting Nicola Finnie by spitting on her at a house in Croftpark Crescent, Blantyre, on February 21.
Bonner also admitted shouting abuse, yelling threats and damaging household items.
