Blake Austin makes trip to popular Leeds spot as he prepares for Rhinos move

By Matthew Shaw

Blake Austin has had tongues wagging after posting social media images of himself in a Leeds park.

The Rhinos-bound Australian was taking in the delights of Roundhay Park on Wednesday evening as he prepares to make the move to the club in 2022.

Austin has signed a one-year deal with the Headingley club as part of an eye-catching recruitment drive featuring Aidan Sezer and James Bentley.

Posting on Instagram, Austin posted a video of the park with the caption "Not bad at all."

His post resulted in some Leeds fans speculating about an immediate move to the club ahead of the play-offs.

But the transfer deadline has already passed, meaning Austin can't make his move to the club before the 2022 season.

Austin, who is currently a marquee player at Warrington, has spent three years with the Wolves and could yet play against his future club in the play-offs.

Richard Agar's side is in touching distance of the top six, with victory against defending champions St Helens on Friday securing their place.
