Blair Drummond needs help picking name for new baby rhino - here are the options

Zoo keepers at Blair Drummond Safari Park have asked for help with naming their new baby white rhino.

The female calf was born at the Stirling enclosure at 11.30am on Monday October 17 and has been doing well since her birth. She is the sixth calf to be born to mum, Dot, and dad, Grahame - who are both 22-years-old.

Bosses at the visitor attraction shared the delightful news earlier this week and told how the birth was very straightforward with no complications. Now, as the baby rhinoceros settles into her new surroundings, keepers have asked visitors of the safari park to help them with potential names.

Members of the public can choose from Clementine, Bridget, Morag or Bryn.

A statement on Facebook reads: "It's the moment you've all been waiting for... Help us name our newest white rhino calf! Our keepers have selected a few names that they like, and we want you to help us decide which one to choose! Please vote using the reaction buttons."

Those wishing to make a vote can do so by commenting on the zoo's social media post here.
