Midfielder Blair Alston today (Thursday) became Hamilton Accies' fourth signing of the summer, as Brian Rice builds his squad for an assault on the Premiership.
Alston (27) has signed at Accies after leaving St Johnstone, where he played for three seasons.
The former Falkirk star told AcciesTV "Brian Rice is a major factor in why I'm here. I worked with him at Falkirk and I know how he wants to play.
"I had a good few years at St Johnstone, it's just one of those things where a change is something I needed."
Head coach Brian Rice said: "I'm delighted to have Blair on board with us, as we head into our sixth consecutive season in the Premiership.
"He adds experience to the squad, and that's something that's important to support our Academy players making that step up to a first-team environment.
"He is a fantastic player and I'm looking forward to seeing him playing in Accies colours."
Alston is the fourth summer signing, after defenders Markus Fjortoft, Brian Easton and Ciaran McKenna.
