BlackMilk’s A Court Of Thorns And Roses Collab Is Sending BookTok Girlies To The Night Court

BlackMilk x A Court of Thorns and Roses Collection

A Court of Thorns and Roses fans, grab your credit card and get comfy because BlackMilk has dropped a collab with ACOTAR that features designs that echo the atmosphere of Prythian. The phenomenon that is ACOTAR is a bloody wild ride.

While the books shot to fame when they were first published back in 2015, it was the BookTok resurgence of 2020 that really cemented Sarah J. Maas’ series as modern BookTok royalty.

So, it comes as no surprise that BlackMilk (a brand known for merging art, pop culture, and fashion) would drop a collab inspired by the romance, danger, and whimsy of the Romantasy series.

Fans have been chomping at the bit, praying sneak previews would hit the depths of Reddit. Now, it’s finally dropped, and the Internet has agreed on a few standout pieces.

The dramatic Amarantha Black Lace Maxi Dress ($179) and Sheer Excellence Bodysuit ($99), as well as some of the more gothic, velvet-textured pieces, like the Spring Court Rosewood Dress ($149), received genuine praise from fans, with many of them excited to add them to their carts.

Some of the simpler, staple wardrobe pieces like the Sleek Palazzo Pants ($99) and the Dead Dancer Dress ($139) were sell-out hits too. (Both of which are now restocked BTW).

Some of the more interesting accessories could also add a little something to your winter wardrobe, like the Studded ($69) and Route 666 ($89) corsets.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a BlackMilk collection if there weren’t any pieces that leaned into the early-to-mid 2010s aesthetic they became known for. (Read: high-gloss printed outfits made from the stretchiest fabric known to man.)

You’ll find those iconic looks in the form of the Rio Skater Dress ($149), the City of Starlight Maxi Skirt ($129) and the House of Archeron Luxe Palazzo Pants ($119) — to name a few.

Each of these pieces takes inspiration from the misty mountain peaks, the sparkingly night sky, lust-filled corridors, hidden cities, and places where magic tends to gather in the books.

There’s no denying that for the true fans, this collection offers a chance to bring a little bit of the Night Court magic into the daylight. You can check out the full range here.
