Blackhawks extend point streak in win over Canadiens

CHICAGO _ Patrick Kane, Marian Hossa and Gustav Forsling scored to propel the Chicago Blackhawks to a 3-2 victory over the Montreal Canadiens on Sunday night at the United Center. The win was the Hawks' eighth in their last nine games and extender their points streak to 11 contests.

Andrei Markov had a goal and an assist and Shea Weber also scored but it wasn't enough as the Eastern Conference-leading Canadiens fell for just the third time this season.

Corey Crawford earned the win in goal for the Hawks while Montreal backup Al Montoya suffered the loss.
