A three-vehicle accident near Blackhall junction was causing major travel disruption in Edinburgh earlier this afternoon.
Police were called to the scene of the accident on Hillhouse Road at around 2.05pm.
Three cars were involved in the smash westbound, with one lane blocked off.
Police say that people were being treated for minor injuries, and officers were attending the scene for traffic management.
Edinburgh Travel News were reporting that queues were building on approach.
It was reported at around 4.45pm that the incident was now over and the route is clear once again.
