Hamilton Accies have signed Blackburn Rovers keeper Joe Hilton on a season-long loan.
The 21-year-old comes to New Douglas Park from Rovers having also had loan spells at Fleetwood Town and Ross County.
He came through the youth set-up at Manchester City and Everton.
There was some confusion last week over the likelihood of Rovers being able to complete the deal, but the keeper has signed up for the Championship campaign.
It's a second signing for Accies today, following the capture of striker Andy Ryan.
Hamilton will hope for similar success to Reading keeper Luke Southwood, who enjoyed a successful loan spell in 2019-20.
Hilton told the club's website: "I'm delighted, it's a great opportunity for myself, coming back to Scotland, and I'm really looking forward to getting started.
"I had a spell at Ross County, it was a great overall experience just being around the first team and it meaning something every week with you playing.
"Moving away was a big part in my development and I'm happy to do it again.
"I've signed a new deal at Blackburn, I'm just looking to develop and do the best I can.
"It was a big step at Blackburn, signing that new deal, and I've developed a lot over the last couple of years, so it's about pushing on and continuing that.
"It's an exciting prospect, to try and get in, win games, keep the momentum going and hopefully finish on a high in the season."
