Blackburn Rovers keeper set to sign for Accies

Hamilton Accies are set to sign Blackburn Rovers keeper Joe Hilton on a season-long loan.

The 21-year-old is believed to be ready to join up at New Douglas Park from Rovers having also had loan spells at Fleetwood Town and Ross County.

He came through the youth set-up at Manchester City and Everton.

Accies will hope for similar success to Reading goalkeeper Luke Southwood, who enjoyed a successful loan spell in season 2019-20.
