It is difficult to believe that Cherie Blair has rarely read “a more sensationalist and inaccurate story” than the one in the Guardian concerning her email exchange with Hillary Clinton about meeting Sheikha Mozah (Letters, 4 July). Surely her husband’s description of the intelligence on Iraqi weapons of mass destruction as “extensive, detailed and authoritative” takes the biscuit in this regard.
