'Black Widow' pole dancer 'cleared' of hit-and-run plot to kill Brit millionaire husband

A Brit millionaire whose friends claimed was murdered by his Ukrainian wife died in an accidental hit-and-run, police reportedly now believe.

Barry Pring, 47, was hit by a vehicle when he was out with his wife, Ganna Ziuzina, then 28, celebrating their first wedding anniversary.

Former pole dancer Ganna was dubbed the 'Black Widow" after a British coroner ruled the drunk businessman had been "unlawfully killed" by a speeding car and "tricked" into standing on the wrong side of the road.

Barry's brother told the court that Barry's wife was only with him for his money, while his friend claimed Ganna was involved in his alleged murder.

However, The Times reports that Ukrainian police now plan to tell a new inquest next month that Barry was not murdered - and that a witness at the heart of the case had lied.

The eyewitness claimed to have seen a vehicle hit Barry with its lights off and at high speed, although police have now dismissed this account because of discrepencies.

Officers are reportedly no longer treating the case as premeditated murder - and have instead settled on the theory that it was an accidental hit-and-run.

It is claimed that Barry was hit by a vehicle with stolen number plates while hailing a cab, in Ukraine, in 2007.

An inquest ruled in January 2017 that he had been unlawfully killed and heard allegations his younger wife, who he met through a dating website, was behind it, which she denied.

Ganna, who has changed her name to Julianne Moore and bought two homes in Marbella, Spain, launched a legal bid to defend herself.

She had the inquest verdict of unlawful killing quashed in March 2017.
