The fire service were called to a house on fire in Swansea this morning.
The property on Sydney Street, Brynhyfryd, was described as being well alight and issuing black smoke.
Three fire engines were on the scene at around 11 am this morning.
A spokesperson for Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service, said: "Fire Appliances from Swansea Central and Swansea West attended the scene, where they were confronted with a property that was well alight and issuing black smoke.
"Firefighters used 4 Breathing Apparatus, 2 Hose Real Jets and a Positive Pressure Ventilation Fan to extinguish the fire.
"All persons were reported as safe during the incident.
The fire service remained at the scene at around 11.30am.
