Black Sabbath rocker Ozzy Osbourne ‘on the mend’ following horror fall

Ozzy Osbourne is said to be “on the mend” after a string of health problems following a fall at his home earlier this year.

The 70-year-old Black Sabbath singer was forced to postpone all his tour dates after the accident aggravated injuries sustained during a near-fatal quad bike crash in 2003.

The star’s daughter Kelly has now reassured fans that the singer should be back performing “soon”.

The 34-year-old assured fans: "He's on the mend, he's getting there. It's been a process but he's definitely getting there."

Asked when fans would see Ozzy back on stage, she said: "Soon, I can't say exactly what but soon. There's something coming up."

Ozzy, known as “The Prince of Darkness” has spent most of 2018 and 2019 battling illness and injury.

Last October, he underwent surgery on his right hand because he had contracted a potentially deadly staph infection that affects skin.

The star was then diagnosed with a severe upper-respiratory infection in January 2019, which led to him postponing the European leg of his No More Tours 2 tour.

In April, he suffered a fall at his Los Angeles home that saw him hitting his head and dislodging metal rods in his body that were put there after his quad bike crash in 2003.

As a result, he had to postpone a further set of shows.

Ozzy has previously describing thinking he was "done" after the horror fall left him needing 15 screws in his spine.

Speaking to The Sun, Ozzy said: "Sharon (his wife) was saying, 'You've got to get out of bed.' I would say, 'What's the point, I'm dying.'

"There were many times I thought, 'I'm done.' I was scared. I thought that was it."
