Black Ops 7 season 1 early patch notes – Roadmap, new weapons, new maps, and more

It's been less than a month since it launched, but Call of Duty: Black Ops 7's first season is already set to arrive and add new content to the game's wide array of modes.

Launching on Dec. 4, BO7's season one is "the biggest" season one in CoD history, according to Activision and Treyarch, and the full list of content backs that up. Seven weapons, seven maps, new game modes, and updates across the game's offerings mean there's likely something for all CoD gamers to enjoy.

New battle pass

New battle pass, new unlockables, and a whole bunch of reasons to grind XP. One hundred-plus rewards are available, and the BlackCell Battle Pass is back for those who are cool with spending a bit more.

• Maddox RFB assault rifle (battle pass)
• KDGDT-7 SMG (battle pass)
• Ballistic Knife melee (weekly challenges)
• Sturmwolf 45 SMG (in-season event)
• Sokol 545 LMG (in-season event)

• Fate
• Utopia
• Odysseus
• Meltdown (BO2 remake, in-season)

• Sleighjacked (Hijacked variant, in-season)
• Unannounced map variant (in-season)

New modes

You wanted new modes? You got 'em. Nine of them, to be exact.

Weekly challenges

New challenges will appear each week throughout season one, offering unlockable rewards and limited-time challenges.

Endgame updates

Avalon World Events will begin in season one, bringing unique opportunities and battles in the Endgame PvE mode, including this massive robot battle. There will also be eight new Exotic skills, and the Phantom Skill Track will be added in-season.
