Call of Duty's Zombies mode returns once again later this year in Black Ops 7, and it's inspired by a very specific map from the franchise.
During a special media presentation last week, I saw a bit of the new map in action ahead of its full reveal, and it's huge. Treyarch calls it the "biggest round-based map" ever, and it's one that's directly inspired by Black Ops 2's TranZit.

The new map and its story pick up directly after the events of Black Ops 6's Reckoning map's quest, released earlier this month, bringing together the BO6 zombies crew with a "new iteration" of the OG squad that kicked things off so many years ago.
Like TranZit, the new map takes place over six large playable areas, with some traversal regions in between that require a vehicle. But instead of a bus, this map has a Wonder Vehicle (like a Wonder Weapon) that players must craft and then drive themselves in between areas.
The Wonder Vehicle looks like a pick-up truck that includes some sort of mounted, electric cannon on its roof, zombie monster heads on its hood, and spiked bumpers to help mow down the undead as you drive between these regions via several "super deadly" roads.
Treyarch described the map itself as a "Bermuda Triangle" of locations, with each region being its own set location from a different time period with its own unique backstory. The only one revealed thus far is called Farm.
Each individual location on the map will become its own Survival map in BO7 over time, with Farm starting things off. These maps are smaller, self-contained slices of the bigger map, and have everything you may need within them (perks, Pack-a-Punch, etc.), but offer a Liberty Falls-like experience within. This will eventually allow players to play within each region of the overall map without having to progress the main quest to get there.
BO7 Zombies will also include the return of the twin-stick shooter arcade mode Dead Ops Arcade, and more maps and experiences are expected to come throughout the year as seasonal content. More info about Zombies mode will be revealed leading up to the game's release this fall.
