Activision has officially launched a limited‑time free trial for Black Ops 7, giving players a full taste of key game modes without purchasing the full title. The free trial runs from Dec. 16 through Dec. 22, 2025. During this week‑long period, players on supported platforms can download and play select content at no cost.
This seasonal trial coincides with BO7‘s CODMAS holiday event, making it a perfect time to dive into festive maps and playlists.

The BO7 Multiplayer component gives players access to over 20 maps, including the remastered Nuketown 2025 and the CODMAS-tied Sleighjacked. Alongside the standard modes—Team Deathmatch, Hardpoint, Domination, and Kill Confirmed—the trial also includes seasonal modes such as the exciting classic Prop Hunt and the new Holiday Havoc, a festive mashup featuring holiday-themed maps and unique match variations that add a fun twist to traditional multiplayer action.

You can also take advantage of a 30% discount if you decide to purchase Black Ops 7 during the free trial period.

Do note that the free trial does not typically include the Co-Op Campaign and Endgame. Instead, it focuses on Multiplayer and Zombies, giving players a chance to explore the core competitive and cooperative experiences that define Black Ops 7.
