For the first time ever, Zombies are coming to a Call of Duty beta.
Treyarch announced today that the Black Ops 7 beta next weekend will include a taste of the Zombies mode, specifically the Survival game type, on a map called Vandorn Farm, which looks to be a remake or re-hash of an older map from the franchise.

Zombies has always been a bit of a sacred mode in CoD, and one that's shrouded in secrecy up until launch. But now, players will be able to try out the round-based Survival mode over the course of the beta weekend ahead of time.
The full-fledged round-based map, Ashes of the Damned, will still be saved for launch, though. And that's the way it should be. But I think giving players a chance to try the mode and offer feedback is a no-brainer (mmm, brains), especially since this will attract more players than usual for the beta test.
As part of today's reveal, Activision did a deep dive on BO7's Zombies mode in a huge blog post, detailing everything from Perk-a-Colas, power-ups, Ammo Mods, Field Upgrades, and even the new Necrofluid Gauntlet Wonder Weapon that will be making its debut alongside Ashes of the Damned at launch. And oh yeah, there's a big ass Zombie bear that will be terrorizing players, too.
The BO7 beta has an early access period from Oct. 2 to 5, and then an open period from Oct. 5 to 8, so players don't even need to pre-order to try it out ahead of the game's full launch on Nov. 14. I see this as a total win for everybody involved.
