Hang onto your hats, ya big freaks ‘cos Black Mirror Season Seven is almost here!! Netflix teased us with a sneaky lil’ trailer back in March and they’ve now dished more details with another trailer and an overview of every episode, so we can brace ourselves for all the wonderful chaos to come.
Now it’s been nearly two years since the last season of Black Mirror dropped back in 2023, but we’ve got you covered!
Here’s everything you need to know about season seven, set to drop real soon.
Black Mirror Season Seven
What is Black Mirror Season Seven about?
Netflix will release six brand new episodes of Black Mirror, including a sequel to the smash hit and critically acclaimed sci-fi adventure USS Callister and the pick-your-own-adventure movie Bandersnatch.
Season seven will get things started with “Common People” when a tragic accident sends Amanda to hospital and her husband turns to a new high-tech system called Rivermind to keep her alive. Unfortunately she quickly learns there’s a catch (hint: it involves ads).
Next up is “Bête Noire” in which whizz kid Maria is unnerved when her former schoolmate Verity joins the company she works at. Verity seems to be upto all sorts of sinister things — and nobody else seems to notice.
In “Hotel Reverie” — which is one of the longest episodes this season at 1 hour 16 minutes — an immersive remake of a vintage British film sends Hollywood A-list star Brandy Friday into another dimension.

The episode “Eulogy” will see a man stumblesacross a software that allows him to step inside photographs to revisit some old memories. But, as we quickly learn with Black Mirror, things are not always what they seem.
In “Plaything”, an eccentric older man is linked to an unusual video game from the 1990s which is full of artificial lifeforms and includes an unsolved murder. Now, the details are still fuzzy, but we know it’ll star some familiar faces from Bandersnatch.
And rounding off the season with a 1 hour 28 minute episode is “USS Callister: Into Infinity”, bringing back the space crew from the original 2017 episode. This time, Robert Daly is dead and it’s up to the new captain Nanette Cole to help them survive in an infinite virtual universe.
What is the release date for Black Mirror Season Seven?
Netflix has been vague AF for the last year when it comes to the new episodes but we can confirm season seven is dropping on Thursday, April 10.
Mark your calendars!!

Who is in the cast of Season Seven?
The cast of Black Mirror‘s seventh season is starry enough to warrant its own damn constellation.
The upcoming instalment will feature both new and familiar faces, with some actors returning for the USS Callister sequel.
That includes Cristin Milioti, Billy Magnussen, Jimmy Simpson, Milanka Brooks and Osy Ikhile, each of whom will reprise their roles from the harrowing season four episode.
There’s also a stack of new names joining the Black Mirror universe for season seven, led by Deadpool & Wolverine star Emma Corrin and The Farewell‘s Awkwafina.
They will share the screen with fellow new castmates like Oscar-nominee Paul Giamatti, Barbie’s Issa Rae, and Tracee Ellis Ross.

The new season seven cast is rounded out by Siena Kelly, Rosy McEwen, Paul G. Raymond and Harriet Walter.

We can also confirm a slew of new names announced by Netflix with the release date, including Will Poulter and Asim Chaudhry for the sequel to Bandersnatch.
Another familiar face will be Jay Simpson, who previously appeared in season one’s controversial opening episode “The National Anthem”. (Though it’s understood this might be an unrelated role??)
We’ve also learnt Hard Truths‘ Michele Austin, Say Nothing‘s Josh Finan, and James Nelson-Joyce (who you might recognise from A Thousand Blows) are on-deck for the new season.
