The U.S.S. Callister may fly again.
The Season 4 "Black Mirror" episode could be revived as a full series, star Jimmi Simpson teased Tuesday.
"I've heard little buzzes. I've heard little buzzes. But I don't believe anything until I'm working on set," he said at the Television Critics Association winter press tour.
"I would love it."
The space-themed "Callister," which also starred Jesse Plemons, Cristin Millioti, Michaela Coel, Milanka Brooks, Osy Ikhile and Paul G. Raymond, focused on workplace harassment and male entitlement in a timely episode.
Director Toby Haynes previously told the Hollywood Reporter that producer Louise Sutton had "cooked up a brilliant idea of spinning it off into a TV series."
"I'd love to do a TV series of "USS Callister" _ it's probably one of the best pilots for a space show ever. And I made it! So I'm keen to see it as a TV series," he said.
"I think (creator) Charlie (Brooker) might revisit it as a Black Mirror. Whether I'm the one to do it, I don't know. Being a fan of the show as much as I am, and being a part of making it, I'd love to work with that crew and cast again. It's a gift for a director."
