Black man smashes can of iced tea into face of white man who called him N-word

A black customer smashed a can of alcoholic iced tea into a racist white man's face after he was repeatedly called the N-word inside a petrol station.

Video shows the white man using the slur several times while people queue to pay.

After being racially abused for about a minute, the black customer eventually hits the white man in the face with a can of Twisted Tea, using enough force to cause it to burst open, and then hurls more punches at him on the floor.

The shocking incident happened inside a Circle K in the US city of Elyria, Ohio, and one video clip posted on Twitter has had more than two million views since Christmas Eve.

In the video, the white man, who isn't wearing a face mask despite Covid-19, taunts the black man, telling him: "F*** my momma? F*** your momma, n*****."

The black man tells him to stop using the slur, but he continues to say it.

The white man says: "I'ma say n***** all day, every day.

"Are you kidding me? Where you from, n*****?"

The black man picks up a can of iced tea and the white man asks him: "What? You gonna smack me with that?.

"Smack me. Smack me, n*****."

The black man drops the can on the floor and as he picks it up the white man kicks out at him.

The black man then smashes the can into the other man's face, knocking him to the floor.

A woman tells the white man: “Yeah, you got yours, buddy."

As they square off, the black man wrestles the white man onto the floor and begins to hit him with a flurry of punches.

He then dares the white man to use the slur again.

He says: "Call me another f***ing n*****."

They continue to wrestle for a few more moments, and the black man walks away, saying: "I asked you not to call me a n*****."

The local police force said it was not called to the incident and no-one has been charged.
