Black makes TV comeback

Cilla Black, host of the dating show Blind Date for 18 years, will make her television comeback tonight.

One of three judges on ITV's Soapstar Superstar, the former singer will assess the vocal contributions of 10 soap star contestants in an X Factor style contest.

Speaking to the Manchester Evening News, Cilla said she was looking forward to a return to the limelight.

"My nickname in the family household is now NT, for National Treasure. I think that's funny. The other one they call me is Isameme, because it's all about me."
