Black Friday sale: Edinburgh Poundstretcher shops selling everything at 20 per cent discount today

Poundstretcher stores in Edinburgh are selling everything in store at a 20 per cent discount today.

A mega Black Friday sale is currently running at the three stores within the city – at Newkirkgate in Leith, Meadowbank and Gorgie Road. Sales are also running at their shops in the Lothians and Fife.

A host of items from festive decorations and toys to health and beauty items are being sold off on the cheap. A number of stores are also selling Christmas trees this year.

However people are reminded only to shop in their local area, with Covid-19 travel rules now in force across Scotland.

While all shops are able to remain open in level 0 to 3 areas, tier four places such as West Lothian are restricted to essential shops only, meaning there may be an increased emphasis on online shopping during this year's sales.
