Since the Sony Playstation5 went on sale last week there has been a frenzy by desperate gamers battling to get their hands on one.
Supplies of the must-have consoles ran dry within hours as the sheer demand caused Tesco, John Lewis and GAME websites to crash.
This quickly lead to reports of them changing hands for multiple times the £349.99 price tag for the Digital Edition and the £449.99 cost of the Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive.
The desperate hunt for a console isn't confined to just the UK with keen 'hunters' in the US shunning Thanksgiving Day celebrations in their quest to get their hands on one on Black Friday.
In Norfolk, Virginia, two dedicated PS5 fans braved the cool autumn weather to sleep outside a GameStop store to ensure they get first dibs on a console - on their own beds.

They created their own home from home by bringing along their mattresses and bedding to camp outside the store for more than an entire day.
Such is their dedication that they push aside their annual American celebrations with family and friends.
They are said to have set up camp from 6am on Thanksgiving Day - a whole 25 hours before the store's 7am opening on Friday (12pm UK time).
Images of the posted on Twitter show them snuggled on their makeshift 'outdoor bedrooms' waiting for the double doors to spring open so they can win the race to grab a PS5.

One of the men is reported to have said he decided to camp outside that particular store because he tried 11 others first and they all had eye-watering queues.
Their brutal determination won praise from scores of Twitter users.
One commented: "I've seen tents, I've seen sleeping bags, I saw an entire campout when I waited for the Wii, but holy crap, a full bed? That's just damn."
Another posted: "Not gonna lie, I respect the dedication to bring a whole bed."

A third quipped: "These guys commitment. Literally a whole a*s bed and mattress."
However one impressed person has hinted they'd rather pay an inflated price for a console than camp outside.
They tweeted: "Just pay the extra $250 and buy it on eBay geez."
On Wednesday Sony issued some good news for people still trying to get hold of a PS5 - more consoles will be available before the end of the year.
PlayStation tweeted: “We want to thank gamers everywhere for making the PS5 launch our biggest console launch ever.
“Demand for PS5 is unprecedented, so we wanted to confirm that more PS5 inventory will be coming to retailers before the end of the year - please stay in touch with your local retailers.”
