The end of the year is edging closer, which means one thing: Black Friday 2025 is almost upon us. This is one of the biggest, busiest online shopping events to grace our email inboxes, and it keeps on growing every single year. Not only that, but it also seems to start earlier and last longer each time it comes around, too.
The sale event ~officially~ kicks off on Friday 28 November, but we can put our money on a bunch of brands kicking things off as early as the start of the month.
If you’re keen to start thinking about your plan of attack come the overwhelming sale season, we’re here to dish the dirt on everything we know about Black Friday 2025 so far.

When Is Black Friday 2025?
Black Friday officially kicks off on 28 November, 2025. It’s always held on the last weekend of November, and the sales run until 1 December, 2025. Of course, this is dependent on each brand, so dates will vary.
When Is Cyber Monday 2025?
Cyber Monday is always held on the first Monday after Black Friday weekend. This year, it falls on 1 December — right in time for Christmas shopping!
Is Cyber Monday Better Than Black Friday?
Honestly, it’s a mixed bag depending on the brand. A lot of brands are sneaky and bump up the discount on their sale items on Cyber Monday to encourage shoppers to loop back and add some more items to their cart. However, some brands save their best sales for Black Friday, so by waiting until Cyber Monday, you may miss out on the best deals over the weekend. You’ve just gotta take a risk and hope for the best.
What Brands Will Have Black Friday Sales 2025?
These days, it’s more rare for a brand to not participate in Black Friday sales. We’re still waiting to hear what brands will be taking part in the festivities, but last year there were over 150 who absolutely delivered across both Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
Will Black Friday Start Earlier This Year?
While the Black Friday 2025 sales won’t ~officially~ start earlier than 28 November, you best believe there are going to be brands trying to get in first and start their sales right as the clock strikes 12 on 1 November.
Last year, brands including The Iconic, Dyson, Adore Beauty and Myer all started their Black Friday sales early. It’s not a guarantee that they’ll do it this year, but keep your eyes peeled.
What Should I Buy On Black Friday?
The internet is your oyster during Black Friday 2025 sales — you can pretty much buy anything at a discount. Whether you need clothes, furniture, white goods or technology, the sales span across a wide range of categories.
The best way to approach it? Write a list of what you need, so you don’t get swpt up in the chaos of it all and buy unnecessary items you’ll later regret. It’s also prime time to get organised and buy all your Christmas presents early so you’re not questioning your life choices when it’s Christmas Eve and you’re weaving your way through a sea of people at the shopping centre.
That’s everything we know about Black Friday 2025. We’ll be updating this page with more information as it comes out, so keep checking in.
