Black Friday 2021: When is it and what date does Cyber Monday fall on?

Black Friday is no doubt one of the biggest shopping days of the year.

It along with Cyber Monday are two days when people try to get many of their Christmas presents bought.

Black Friday originated in the USA and has been adopted by stores across the UK since around 2014.

It was a term given for the Friday following Thanksgiving when stores began offering highly promoted sales.

Shoppers are spoilt for choice in the sales with significant discounts on everything from electronics, makeup, clothes, toys and more.

Some retailers may start their discounts before Black Friday - usually during the same week - but it could be even earlier.

They may also carry their discounts on for the following few days.

What date do Black Friday and Cyber Monday fall on this year?

Black Friday falls this year on Friday, November, 26.

Cyber Monday falls on the Monday after, meaning this year it's on November 29.

It is an e-commerce term referring to the Monday following Thanksgiving weekend in the US, with sales based online.

Where can I find some bargains from?

Amazon is one retailer which is widely known for its Black Friday deals.

Currys, Argos and the majority of other big retailers also get involved.

You can also expect that major supermarket chains in Northern Ireland like Tesco, Sainsbury's and Asda will have Black Friday deals online and in store.
