
A black swan wades in a field of nemophila, which is in season until around the end of April, at Kairakuen park in Mito. Kairakuen Park Center said the annual flowers, which are native to North America, cover a total of 6,620 square meters in two locations at the park. A river runs between Kairakuen and Lake Senba, with the white and black swans that live in the lake traveling to the park via the river or by flying.
