Bjorn Borg throws his racket into the air after beating Ilie Nastase, 6-4 6-2 9-7, to become Wimbledon men's singles champion for the first time on 3 July 1976. Borg went on to win the title 5 times consecutively; winning a career total of 11 grand slam singles titles and is widely regarded as one of the greatest tennis players of all time
