Bjork announces Glasgow show on Cornucopia Tour - here's how to get tickets

Bjork has announced details of a headline Glasgow show.

The Icelandic artist will bring her Cornucopia Tour to the SSE Hydro on November 25 .

This will be Bjork’s tenth concert tour overall, but her first theatrical production and is directed by Argentine film director, Lucrecia Martel.

The show, which debuted in New York, features several digital visuals created by media artist Tobias Gremmler and has stage design made to resemble fungi by Chiara Stephenson.

Bjork is joined on stage by a seven-piece flute ensemble, harp, percussions, electronics and bespoke instruments as well as a reverb chamber in which she could sing to mimic the way she'd usually compose music.

The costumes have been designed by Balmain's Olivier Rousteing and Iris van Herpen.

A speech by Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg was projected onstage during an interlude at the New York performance.
