Bizarre new Love Island Norway trailer shows contestants stripping in the snow

The weird and wonderful new trailer for the Norweigan Love Island has caught the eye of many viewers.

The video shows the contestants stripping down from their wintry warm clothes to bikinis and jumping on inflatables and a snowmobile.

The famous soundtrack plays as the contestants race each other down a snowy mountain on the trailer, which appeared on Snapchat.

The show returns in Norway on 5th January and is hosted by Tone Damli and filmed in the Canary Islands.

Last year's winners were Andrea and Morten, who now share their lives and relationships on their joint YouTube channel.

The Winter edition of the UK version of Love Island is also soon to return - though there are questions over who will be presenting it.

The usual host Caroline Flack stepped down after she was arrested and charged with assault against her boyfriend, Lewis Burton.

A recent tweet from the show's official account said: "Inflatables at the ready... we’re back on January 12th!"

It's been said that Laura Whitmore will replace Caroline on the hit dating show.

ITV are poised to confirm Laura will host the next series of the dating show after Caroline, 40, announced she was stepping down.

She said: "Love Island has been my world for the last five years, it's the best show on telly.

"In order not to detract from the attention of the upcoming series I feel the best thing I can do is stand down for Series 6.

"I want to wish the incredible team working on the show a fantastic series in Cape Town."
