Bizarre moment man throws dead pigeon at opponent in street fight outside McDonald's

A street fight between two revellers turned vicious when one of them suddenly pelted the other with a dead pigeon.

The bizarre brawl erupted outside a McDonald's in Liverpool after the pair exchanged words and squared up to each other.

A video taken by a nearby doorman shows the two men dancing around each other before a man in a green T-shirt shouts 'You're a waste of my time' and pushes the other man, who is wearing a hooded jacket.

He then throws punches towards the man's face several times.

The song 'Mambo No. 5' can be heard playing in the background from a nearby club as stunned onlookers watch the men fight.

At one point, a man interfers and seemingly appears to encourage the man in the green T-shirt to walk away.

But as he turns his back, the man bends down and picks up a dead pigeon lying on a pavement.

Launching it as his opponent, the bird almost hits the second man in the face before landing on the ground behind him.

Doorman Kwasie Mensah filmed the clip and posted it to Facebook , writing: "Can’t believe he threw a dead pigeon," alongside three laughing face emojis.

Matty Edgar responded online: "Poor pigeon done nothing ffs."

James Ian wrote: "What a foolish little turd, seemed to give the big lad a good laugh though."

Ben Crummy wrote: "Imagine getting a pigeon threw at ya half way through a scrap lad hahaha."

Chris Hathaway wrote: "Using a pigeon as a weapon is a new one for me."

Others were amused by the soundtrack to the fight.

Sean James commented: “Mambo no.5 in the background,” and a laughing face emoji.

Nicky Eagle added: “Even my 16 month old son was laughing at this.”

Speaking today, Kwasie Mensah said: “I work as a doorman on a bar called the Celtic Corner, I see stuff like this all the time.

“The video comes across as quite funny, but it could of took a turn for the worse. luckily it never, if it did though we definitely would of stepped in."
