Bizarre UFO-shaped home goes on market in area flooded with recent UFO sightings

A home in Kansas City, Missouri, is listed on Zillow, and this house was specially designed for a certain type of person.

The UFO-shaped home features three bedrooms within its 2,400 square ft with no windows on the second floor.

A hexagonal paradise for fans of interplanetary space travel, this house in Linden Hills is currently selling for $349,500.

A picture of the home was posted by a Twitter account known as Zillow Gone Wild, as the internet reacted the way it always does - with jokes and memes.

"In light of recent UFO news, this Kansas City, MO, listing seems to confirm their existence," one user said in response.

"Earth is overrated," another individual laughed.

The listing for the strange home reads: “Are you ready for a home that is out of this world?

”Check out this newly-remodelled spaceship on Earth. This three-bed launch pad has all of the extras to make you feel right at home. Amazing wood floors throughout. Gorgeous ceilings. If you have been looking for a home that is unlike any others, this is your match! Amazing location. Great lot.”

The porch steps that lead up to the main entrance resemble the walkways aliens use to deboard their crafts in some Hollywood films. This upper level pops out over the lower one with a pronounced bevel that really makes the structure resemble a UFO.

The home's interior also looks like a spaceship. An angular wooden dome with a single menacing spike in the middle defines the upper level's ceiling.

Because the structure has an almost round layout, there's an open hexagonal pit in the middle of the living room featuring furniture that hugs the corners of the building's strange shape.

The rest of the house is more traditional.

There's standard bedrooms, a sizable porch, and a big enclosed garage with enough space for two cars.

Realtor Branigan Barnett told The US Sun that the woman he purchased the home from told him that the home was built in 1968 by Kay Dennis, a lounge singer.

"I purchased the house about a year ago, it had changed hands a couple of times since Kay was the owner and had fallen into a pretty serious state of disrepair."

"We did a complete renovation on the property, our original intent was to make this an Airbnb, but the city of [Kansas City, Missouri] has made the difficult and the market is pretty hot so we decided to sell it."

There have been at least five unexplained UFO reports in Missouri so far this year, 100.9 The Eagle reported.

The ArcGIS Online Live Map shows dozens of sightings all over the state, and some are suggesting that this state may become the next alien tourist hotspot.

That includes one incident in Farmington, about 70 miles south of St. Louis.

Residents there saw a bright light move across the sky on the night of May 16.

"It does move with intent it seems," witness Melissa Bates said as she filmed the incident.

In fact, Missouri has been a hotbed of alien activity for over 50 years, and a recent house bill would designate the state as a UFO capital.
