Bizarre footage shows pair stealing cheap plant pots outside Leeds café

A pair of men were caught on camera stealing relatively cheap plant pots from a Leeds café.

They were caught on camera sheepishly pacing around the street, looking over their shoulders before making off with the three plant pots - which the café said didn't cost very much.

Owners of Rollette Cafe, in Meanwood Road, posted the CCTV footage, showing the theft on Friday, May 20, at 6.20pm. The shop owners, who weren't overly concerned about the plant pots, shared the footage in order to "shame" the thieves and potentially identify them.

The shop said on Facebook: "That happened on Friday(May 20) early evening at about 6.20pm! Stealing the plants! These are not very worthy(money wise).

"They are stealing presentation from the local area, not just the shop! We are sharing this to shame them in front of the public. (might be somebody can recognise them)."

The owners have not reported the incident to the police, the footage can be viewed at the top of this article.
