A busy Bristol bridge is to close overnight tonight for tests to be carried out on its structure.
Plimsoll Bridge will be fully closed to all traffic between 11pm tonight (Saturday, April 6) and 7am tomorrow (Sunday, April 7).
Barriers will be installed an a diversion put in place.
Motorists are being advised to avoid the area.

A council spokesman said: "A number of tests will be carried out on the swing bridge with motorists advised to avoid the area during these times.
"We apologise for the inconvenience during these essential works."
The bridge was forced to partially close to traffic earlier this month to allow repairs to a loose plate on the surface of the swing bridge.
